Hello, and welcome to MyMigraineConnection.com!
Prodrome, the first phase of a Migraine attack, has many varied symptoms including increased frequency of urintation. Excession urination can also be a uncommon, potential side effect of some triptans. You may want to speak with your doctor about this if it becomes troublesome.
One thing of importance, triptans and ergots should not be used together or within a 24 hour period of each other.

Welcome again,

My son usually starts urinating alot more before a migraine.
I have read in Teri Robert's book-"Living Well wiht Migraine Disease and Headaches-What Your Doctor Doesn't Tell You...That You Need to Know" that excessive urination is sometimes a symptom of the prodrome phase of a migraine.
