I'm 33 years old and had my first migrane at about age 22. It was very scary as I thought I was going to die of a brain anurism. The doctor said welcome to the life of migranes and gave me a script for imitrex. Although as of late my headaches have become more frequent and severe. My symptoms start out with what I can only explain as a black dot being glued over my retna. I cant focus on anything. Next I get numbness that starts in my tongue, and progresses to my hands. Thats when I actually start feeling the headache. When the pain of the headache starts, thats when the confusion and slurred speach start. I don't know what to do. Is their anyone out their with something that helps or should I just live with this for the rest of my life?
