About a week ago, I was checked for TMJ. My understanding of TMJ is that it is when your jaw joints and muscles are out of alignment. So they shocked my face for an hour, it was a pretty high voltage too apparently, because it made my left arm bounce up and down and everytime I was shocked my eyes blinked lol. Then they took a mold of my bite. If your bite changes significantly after you get shocked, then it's a good chance that you have TMJ. I however, do not. But oh well, it was worth a try. I would highly suggest that if you suffer from migraines, you should get checked for TMJ. You'll need to see a neuromuscular dentist. My visit to get checked for it costed $100, so that isn't too bad. The dentist that I went to actually had TMJ and had migraines from it and they fixed her and she hasn't had a migraine since.

Thank you for sharing this Jessica. That was interesting information and very nice of you to share with us.
