Tuesday, October 09, 2007 at 09:59 PMthank you for your research. It all seems if-y to me also, but i'm pretty much out of options, so i'll really try anything at this point. Plus, they say you don't pay a dime till they heal you.. and they haven't gotten any of my card information and I haven't signed anything, so I guess they are being honest. I spoke with the owner over the phone, and he seems pretty passionate about this stuff, and honest, like he actually cares. So, we'll see I suppose.re: re: Caution, please

You're going to do whatever you're going to do. But I want to address the comment that you're "pretty much out of options." You're not. Seriously. There are over 100 medications in use for Migraine prevention and virtually endless combinations of them. It's literally impossible to have tried everything.
Good luck,
Teri

Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at 01:38 AMAll the preventatives that my neurologist put me on, well actually ALL the medicines he put me on made me sick. A couple made the room spin, one made me shake, and another made it feel like there was pressure on my face... weird. But anyways, I wasn't trying to be rude or anything, I really do appreciate your advice/comments... i've just been getting really worn down with this stuff.. it's been starting to break my spirit a little... and I know being depressed is like the worst thing I can do for myself right now but I can't help it. The pain is so bad it makes me sick to my stomach, and I'm starting to get lines on my forehead and i'm only 17 yrs old. I guess it sounds dumb but it gets to me. As far as my comment about running out of options, I honestly don't know what else to do, if you have any suggestions throw them at me, I'm willing to try anything.re: re: re: re: Caution, please

I do understand. Been there myself. It's horrible. What made a big difference for me was realizing that neurolotists aren't necessarily Migraine specialists and getting myself to a real specialist. Maybe that's something you want to consider. If you'll look to your left, there's a link in the green "Find" box to our listing of patient recommended specialists.
Also, if you want additional support, come by the forum.

The man that developed this stuff is rude to the bone!
Vicki
Sunday, October 28, 2007 at 10:49 AMWhen I first ordered this stuff I read the Q & A, Quote:
Q. How long does it take for Headache Stay Gone to cure headaches?
A. Every case is different. Someone who has been getting headaches 2 or 3 times a month, will probably be cured quickly; often in about 20 to 30 minutes. Another person who has had excruciating migraines, almost every day, for 20 years, would probably experience diminished, less frequent headaches the first week and be headache free in a month or two; but wait until your headaches are gone, before you pay the bill.Q. How do I know Headache Stay Gone will work for me?
A. Wait until your headaches are gone before you pay one penny. Headache Stay Gone will cure your headaches and prevent them from coming back.Q. What about people who have the worst migraines in the world?
A. Wait until your migraines are gone, before you pay one penny. Headache Stay Gone will cure your migraines and prevent them from coming back. Now, I took this suff for two weeks straight as directed. Then a migrane came on and I took more as directed, and "Nothing" I had to take my regular prescription to get relief. Then about a week ago I got a letter from them asking me to call and let them know how I was and that I had not paid my bill. I called and told them that I had no relief taking their pills. I was told that they would credit my current bill and send me 3 bottles of 250 capsules to take and I wouldn't have to pay the "$99.00" dollars until my headaches were gone. I told them that I had been on the pills for two weeks and got a migraine, and continued to take them when the migraine came on with no relief. I was told to take up to 5 pills 5 times a day for 3 mos. And that should do the trick. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't want to have to take 25 pills a day for any reason.
When I explained this to the person who developed the pills, I told him, that when I ordered the product I was under the impression as in the above Q&A, that I would get relief quickly. I told him that since the first order didn't work for me I didn't want to order any more. His comment was ("well I guess your headaches just need to make you roll in the floor screaming, then you will want to take as many as necessary. That really should happen to you") I thought that was the most horrid thing anyone could say to an individual! Then he proceeded to tell me that he thought that I had taken the pills and got relief and that I just didn't want to pay him and that he would sue me in court.
This man doesn't know me from Adam, nor is he a Dr. of medicine, that has the right to judge what people should and should take. If any one needs to be in court it is this man, for making false claims. So much for the "dont' pay until your headaches are gone" scheme. So if you don't want to eat these pills five time a day for as long as it take to never have headaches again, I wouldn't waste my money, because you won't see relief, and if you call them, they will try to convence you to buy more and if you don't agree to their recommendations, they will wish a dibilitating headache on you and threaten to take you to court.

Thursday, November 01, 2007 at 10:55 PMyeah they have me taking 3 pills 5 times a day and I also take 2 different meds on topp of that.. I don't know if this makes sense, but taking that many pills a day made me really depressed. My family says it's stupid that that would make me depressed. (I don't thinks it's a side effect from the pills, I think it is just because I am taking 17 pills a day.. it makes me feel like i'm on my death bed or something)

Monday, November 12, 2007 at 05:52 PMI'm one of those people who have rolled in the floor with a migraine while vomiting and hoping for someone to shoot me. I was desperate and read this man's ad. After I read that he blames all of Israel and all Jews for the FDA trying to stop herbal remedies, I knew he was a less than reputable man and I don't want anything he sells. -

Saturday, December 08, 2007 at 03:58 PMWow Teri-you really have it out for this company. I have tried "the Best" headache center on the East Coast and was hospitalized for 4 days hooked up to IV drugs last year-tried every conceivable drug (abortive and preventative) they gave me and I was worse than ever. I never want to go back there. I also saw others in the waiting room with the same horror stories. So, I have been there, done that, and am willing to try this. Please do not be so negative. Thank you.

Sunday, March 02, 2008 at 08:21 PMI took it as I was instructed to.. didn't do a dang thing for me.. but they didn't bill me or anything, as they had said. But I did only use 1 bottle then I called it quits, maybe if I had used more than 1 bottle, they might have gone after me. I didn't like taking Headache Stay Gone only because when you take 15 pills a day, it makes you feel like you're dying or something.. I know it sounds stupid but it made me depressed taking that many pills a day.re: re: Did it ever help you?

Caution Please
Pat Stoddard
Monday, July 28, 2008 at 08:47 AMHello,
I just wanted to let you know that I called to find out about this product because there web site was down. I talked to Dr. Lamprey, he was nice at first to me, then when I asked if this product interacts with any other medication, because I'm on another kind of medication for something else. He doesn't know me at all, he was very rude to me, and told him he that any other medication that I'm on will kill me. He told me that three times in a row, and I was getting frustrated.
Then he told me to get off the other medication that my Dr. prescribes to me, that I been on for a long time, and I need to take it. I told him he wasn't very nice, when he was becoming terribly rude to me. Then he told me he wasn't going to send me a bottle of Stay Gone, and he wanted me to suffer with my headaches, and he called me a stupid idiot, and hung up on me. Sorry to tell this, but I wouldn't buy anything from this man that is suppose to be premoting this product and talks to customers like that. I can't believe that he calls himself a Doctor that cares for me and treats them terrible on the phone. So I really can't tell you if the product works, or not. Good luck to whoever orders this product, I hope you have a better experience then I had.

Jessica,
I'd never heard of this product before, so I found their web site. I don't trust any site where they say they can "cure," and that site does.
Looking at the ingredients, one that caught my attention is white willow bark. It's known as "nature's aspirin." It's from the use of it that aspirin was eventually developed.
The site also says, "Headache Stay Gone is formulated using all-natural herbs and vitamins. To date; we know of no side effects after thousands have taken Headache Stay Gone." Maybe nobody has reported side effects, but there are plenty of possible side effects, and white willow bark should be taken with caution. It shouldn't be used by some people, including women who are or could become pregnant.
Slippery elm should not be taken by women who are or could become pregnant either.
White willow bark, slippery elm, and meadowsweet should be avoided by anyone who is sensitive to salicylates such as aspirin.
In short, "natural" or not, all of these ingredients act as drugs in the body; they were, in fact, man's first drugs. In addition to having potential side effects, they can interact with both OTC and prescription medications.
It's always best to discuss such products with our doctors before taking them.
Good luck,
Teri
