Another Migraine

It's been a while since I've posted. But just wanted to note 2 things. 1) I've noticed that I have a "pattern" of having migraines for about 3 days (and on the 2nd day it's really bad) and then about 3 days of rest. 2) I've gone from only needing .5-1 mg a day of zomig, to about 1-2 mg of zomig a day. The stress, I guess has gotten worse, and part of it I think is because of of family...

My Topamax Side Effects - Typical but Grateful!

Just noting Topamax side effects. I'm on 75mg - coming up on the 100mg very soon. I do have the tingling sensations, losing train of thought, and I have my moody moments (but no lashing outs). I have found that I don't care to eat as much, but I still eat. I had a migraine early this morning. But glad to say that I haven't been having them everyday like before! Wow!

the aura.

Well - today I have another migraine coming on (I'm in the middle of the aura as I write), and this is day three after the start of Topamax (25). I took 2.5 of zomig, so we'll see what happens..... it was nice not having migraines after 2 days. I noticed about 1 hour before the aura that my vision was blurry and that I had trouble focusing or finding words - I guess I'm getting Topamax side effects as well as the migraine...

New Diagnosis - Chronic Migraines

As a migraine sufferer since around 1992, I have had numerous experiences. I've been without migraines about 3-4 years in there somewhere, but have been steadily having problems since 1997. Anyways, since the birth of my 2nd child in July, the migraines have recently been worse. Worse as in more frequent. My quarterly trip to the neurologist (God bless that man) diagnosed me with having to now treat it as a...
