Hi I have a six year old son with migraine. We live in australia and i did an internet search the other day for leg cramps and migraine as this seems to be a maor factor in my sons migraine and I am looking for a way to relieve this. I saw a post from migrainemom that sounds really familiar and have spent the last 6 days trying to reply but have got all kinds of error messages each time i try to log in. I am hoping that this will work.
My husband and I are pretty stressed about his situation as his migraines are constant and effect his speech, right side of the body and cause continuous nausea, chest pains and cramps in his legs. He has had all the usual tests leading to a diagnosis about 12 months ago and has been good on medication with a strict diet. Our local osteopath seems to be the main help in reducing the length of the migraine but she is currently booked out for the next month and my son has had a rolling migraine lasting nearly 2 weeks now. I think I just wanted to connect with someone who has had a simliar expience to my son so migrainemom if you are out there please reply. Our Dr told us the cramps were unrelated to but they have dissapeared with the medication and have come back with a vengeance when we tried to take him off the medication. He has started back on Sandomigraine 4 one week now but with no effect. all pain relief seems to have no or little effect.
