    Dearest Andrea,

What a haunting verse. Very aptly describing

what we who have experienced it, time and time again, can

surely refer to as a "Winter" experience in life.

I hope you have been able to find some winter beauty

despite the cold hard fact of this awful disorder.

    God Speed,

    linda

    Hello Linda,

Thank you so much for your reply.  I knew by posting this piece on this web site it would reach others who deal with this illness and let them know that others like themselves face this battle on a daily basis.

Because I live in Canada and have to contend with the brutal weather we have up here in the winter it makes hibernation almost mandatory. Thankfully I can work from home most of the time, so that helps keep some semblance of a "normal" lifestyle.  With the help of a very supportive husband and the unconditional love from our beautiful pets it makes the indoor lifestyle bearable and the meds help relieve the pain.

I really appreciate you taking the time to respond to my message, thanks for caring,

    your friend,

    Andrea
