I can feel it coming, the terrorist that steals my days;
How I try to fight the battle and not to give up my thoughts and ways.
The control it seems to have, gets ever stronger by the hour;
Soon I become the "UnPerson" having lost any, if not all of the power.
I could try to make believe that there's a chance for relief;
the potions and pills I'm given increases dispair and disbelief.
I meditate and medicate for hours without any reward;
All happy times and comfort are imprisoned, forever stored.
What is the price that is paid to grasp back the self I once knew;
I lose a little bit more of me
each and every time these Migraines brew.
I'm left alone with the"UnPerson in My Head";
it truly makes one feel their own self
is but dead.
