Hello, and welcome to MyMigraineConnection.com!
I'm so sorry about your head injury, I totally understand! But you've found a wonderful supportive community.
A Migraine specialist may be the way to go with all the different issues you are experiecing. If your doctor isn't able to help you, it may well be time to consult a Migraine and headache specialist. It's important to note that neurologists aren't necessarily Migraine and headache specialists. Take a look at the article specialist, Migraine and Headache Specialists - What's So Special? If you need help finding a Migraine, check our listing of Patient Recommended Migraine and Headache Specialists.

First all, I want to thank you, Nancy and Terri,
I often come to this site and I suggest it to friends too. Your site is wonderful and very helpful, and I did get some answers, too. I still have migraines, have for 11 years now. My migraine is from nerve damage. I still cannot take many of the prescriptions, as I have tried. I have not seen a migraine specialist, as you have suggested, I have no Health Insurance. I did file for SSA, and was denied once, in November of 2009. I have received a letter from them saying I am disabled (due to anixety, migraines and a back injury). I now no, its not all in my head.. I will continue to check in here from time to time, too..
lovin the pain of migraines,
Nancy
