(taking over counter advil migraine) allergic to celexa, naproxen, sulfa, triptans, imitrex, topamax, maxalt, topamax, maxalt, tylenol
On Jan. 6th 1999, I fell on the ice at work. I never had migranes before, never took any prescriptions until then. I've been to physical theraphy, had a neck fusion c-5 & c-6 area, been through trigger shots to my head, nerve blocking (which only worked for 10 days), at the pain clinic to deal with the migranes. I was on inderal & doxepin for 8 years but in December of 2008 the medications stopped working, probably because of the added stress of looseing my job in September of 2008. I've been to my doctor, he has prescribed different medications and have found out that I am allergic to many. The celexa was my the last chose, when I informed my doctor, that I would be loosing my health insurance. I have stopped taking celexa in October of 2009. This messed with my eyes and I had bumps on my head and face, hives broke out all over. I did give the medication 6 months and never got any better. I filed for SS disablity in March of 2009. Was denied Setember 23, 2009. I have am at the appeal stage now and have a lawyer. My independence is gone, and I feel less of a person and I experiencing memory lose. But i just take it day by day. I keep telling myself it'll get better, and sometimes I wish God would just take me, remove me from this terrible pain. I just take it one day at a time, and pray for the best. I seek darkness, with a ice packs , and with total silence. I no longer feel guilty of having few days without pain, but am ashamed of letting things go, not getting stuff done. another day, another time. Still going on. recently i've invested oils from Earth Angle Oil.com, its doing the job, "relief",not a cure. I've found out though, I have to use it with other oils (euculyptus oil), it does help, but it is strong. i also use it for my sinus, does better than over counter nasal spray.
