my name is jennifer (JJ) and i used to be on one of Teri's old message boards for years and years. well i had a baby in january 07 and was out of the loop for a few months. when i came back everyone was gone! i finally found her and everyone else thank god! Teri has been my idol and inspiration because in my eyes she Lives Big. (read the book called Living Big) anyway, my migraines were terrible before pregnancy, during my 2nd & 3rd trimester and ever since i had my baby boy im sorry to say.
i live in tampa and see dr. wilson and gipson who i am very disappointed in. one won't return my calls and the other basically said there is nothing he can do for me. but i won't give up on me! i have hope for managing my migraines. i cherish every day that i am not in pain and make the most of every minute with my caring husband and preemie baby boy.

My name is Cindy and I have had migraines for about 30 years. I've had quite a few years to figure out how to manage the pain, although sometimes nothing seems to work. But, most of the time with these tips, life seems manageable. I reccomend having a bottle of extra strength excedrine with you at all times as well as a triptan, which requires an Rx - Maxalt is effective for me. My miracle remedy which only works if taken at the very first sign of a migraine is 2 extra strength excedrines with a strong cup of tea. The caffeine constricts the blood vessels which stops the pain. It also helps greatly to avoid the foods that trigger pain such as cheeses, nuts, bananas, peanut butter, balsamic vinegar, hot dogs or anything with nitrates.
Good luck with your pain management.
