I too have found acupuncture very helpful.  To treat my weely migraines though, I would have to go 3x a week, which I did for long time, but the expense was too costly.  Insurance does not cover this and the out-of-pocket money cannot last forever.  But I continue to see him at least once every ten days, for I get such relief from acupuncture. 

 

A few of the medications listed in this forum I have not tried, so it is encouraging to think there is still something out there to ease the pain.  At one point, I almost made my migraines a fulltime job, as I tried to figure out what sets mine off.  Who would think there would be so many triggers!  Plus I was missing out on the positive side of life.  Funny though, the good days remind me of childbirth...you forget how awful the bad days are until they quickly arrive again.
