Now that I am finally able to get a Midrin generic prescription filled, I found out that neither Midrin, nor its generic forms are covered by the Medicare Rx plan. Doesn't seem right. Weren't they covered before?
I guess I could go to one of the pharmacies offering $4 generics (if they include it), but I don't feel as though I should have to roam around for such a formerly common drug.
Any comments are appreciated.

Hello, and welcome to MyMigraineConnection.com!
I'm not really familiar with what is and isn't covered under Medicare's RX plan. With healthcare in the state that it's in the US I think we are just starting to see changes. However, I was able to do a quick search at one of the big box store pharmacy websites and found Midrin there on their $4 plan.
I aslo take Midrin and couldn't be happier you asked this question....now I have another, less expensive way to get it. Do you have a big box store around you with a $4 plan? Walgreen's came out with one recently too, and when I asked my little independent pharmacy about it, they can meet their prices on some things.

I am not sure what big box stores are. I looked up the generic plans at Walgreens, Walmart, Kmart, Target, RiteAid, and Meijer and find no mention of midrin or epidrine. I have been getting it full price at Walgreens, but I need to find somewhere to get it cheaper. Help!!!!
