This weekend was a back-to-back migraine weekend. I had severe migraines both days. Saturday's got better after some Imitrex + ibuprofen and a nap. Sunday's I just had to sweat through as I was at my triptan limit for the week. I iced my head and it kicked the migraine down enough to be to...

    Hi MJ!

You're doing such a good job!  It takes a lot of work to put your health first!  Eating better, taking short walks, sleeping more consistently--all of these changes are so important!  (And those are BIG steps--not baby steps!)

I'm very proud of you and your DBF.  You're working so hard!

(ps--I'm sorry it was a crummy weekend!  Next weekend will be fabulous!Grin)

Jenny, thanks so much for your encouragement. It's difficult at times to keep on doing what I should be for my health, especially when I don't see results right away. I just keep telling myself it will be good for me in the long run. And like I said, DBF's encouragement is a *huge* part of it.

    Thanks again!Heart

Hi MJ - It sounds like you're doing great stuff!  and it is hard to stick with a healthy lifestyle, and keep making it healthier. (I was just writing about this nin my blog this week www.meganoltmanfreemybrain.typepad.com.) I always wish I could just do things the easy way - which is never the healthy way, even for people who don't get migraines!  Anyway, you keep up the good work!  Heart

    - Megan
