NONE of my meds were working......I ended up in the ER.......I don't even remember the ride home. I tapered off everything I was taking, the Topamax just stopped working and my pain was even worse on it the last few weeks! I started with the 25 for a week, then the 50 I stopped at 50 my migraines stopped. I had some pretty severe side effects, dizzy, heart palpitations, anxiety, those were the worst.......oh and the night terrors! I would sit straight up in bed and not know where I was for a minute, like a huge panic attack. Yes I was a freak, I stopped drinking coffee made it worse. Now today I started my 100MG of Topamax I feel ok kept myself busy. We all know the migraine will come so keeping them away is a daily battle. I drink water like a fish, Smart water is really good when your in the migraine.electrolyte enhanced. Anyway I have found that as I "age" gads how dreadful... its really hard to bounce back from a several day migraine.
