About Me

Seth Haplea, M.D., graduated from Duke University School of Medicine in 1993. He completed his medical internship and neurology residency at the University of Pennsylvania. At the completion of his residency, he was awarded the Samuel Zeritsky Prize for clinical research. In 1998, he completed a fellowship in neuromuscular disorders and electromyography at the University of Pennsylvania, and then joined the faculty as an Instructor of Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Seth is board certified in both Adult Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and has been a presenter at the American Academy of Neurology annual meetings. He is also a member of the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.

Dr. Haplea has been in private practice since 1999, and he maintains offices in Kennett Square and West Grove, Pennsylvania. He has contributed to several books, newspapers and other media outlets, and is a frequent lecturer for medical and community groups. An avid runner, hiker and skier, Seth tends to plan the family vacations around marathons, and his wife forgives him for that.
