Here I go, one more time. Try, try and try again...where it will all end, who knows??
Looked into a migraine trial and decided that if I qualified, then so be it.
For the next few weeks, have to keep a migraine diary...nothing complicated, pretty simple actually.
Funny thing is, the last 5 weeks have been the best in so very long...now I know I do get breaks, usually not for very long and certainly it does not have me fooled into thinking they will not be back...now that would be just too sweet ;)
...so let's see just what actually will happen.
I certainly understand the frustrations, the sadness and dissappointments that come hand in hand with dealing with mgiraines.
Family time, careers, friendships, watching our children not only dealing with our own migraines but in turn they end up with them also...now I don't know which is more painful ;(
...by agreeing to take part in this migraine trial, I am hoping that it will help in some small way, for one and all.

Hi there,
Good to hear you are keeping a Migraine diary. I am keeping one too. Keeping one for a few months may be a better idea than a few weeks. This way you may be able to see a pattern develop over a time period.
Good luck
Nancy
Thank you Nancy, I'm finding keeping the diary really makes me aware of how many headaches/migraines I actually have.
Sometimes there is no pain, but the auras are present...perhaps some day I will understand what's going on! ;)
Both you and Teri were right on with the type of migraine I had...not that I doubted it. Sometimes the headaches and auras can get scary...it's the not knowing what is going on that makes one really question everything.
Wonder what comes next with this study. Guess I'll find out soon enough if I will continue in this study or not.
Again, thanks,
Donna
You better keep up with it young lady! Then you show it to your doctor so you can see if there is a pattern in your Migraines.
Keeping track of my headaches has a down side, it really shows up just how many of the darn things I actually get.
Out of 21 days, I had a migraine or migraine symptom 12 days...and for one of the weeks, I actually was migraine free??
I will be going for an Eco cardiogram...bubble test, if there are bubbles then I have a TEE test, no bubbles then no more testing, and then I don't know.
Wouldn't it be great if they found something to actually help all who suffer from migraines? even just a little bit?
...but then again, I just have this feeling that I do not have a hole in the heart...so I guess it's wait and see.
As much as you want to find something that would help everyone who gets migraines, it's still all based on 'if's'...like so much in the medical world.
Hope your having a good one,
D
