Here we go again...double vision

Again this morning, I woke up with double vision, and I do mean double. Two of everything. It finally subsided, but it's starting to bug the hell out of me. I'm wondering if my B12 is that low, would my vision be affected? or is this another treat from migraines? I know I had a few sharp pains in the left front lobe last night, since it didn't turn into anything I figured I was home free...perhaps not?

The weather is not helping, as...

early mornings - uuuhhgg!

How do people do it? I'm talking about getting up at the crack of dawn! Never have been an early riser, but really! I mean honestly, 5 a.m.? What's up with that?

O.k., so I sound like a spoilled brat, but I was never, ever a morning person and of late, I get up earlier than when I was younger, much younger but 7 - 7:30 a.m. is early enough for me and I still have a hard time in the morning.

Osteoarthritis means morning...

Holidays and Migraines

The joys of spending your first night of holidays with pounding head and being sick to your stomach. Yes, the fun part of traveling and living with migraines. What would make me think that I could travel for 8 hrs, and not have a migraine? Silly me.

Having no health insurance, had to get off preventative medications and try going it with the least meds with the best results. Well, so far I've had a rough road but it's kind of smoothed...

Big Box Stores + another migraine

Oh ya, now I recall why I stopped going to places like Costco...migraines. Walked into the store and find it so darn hard to foccus on one thing...it feels like everything jumps out at you...and there is so much to see! and so darn bright!!

Norm and I walk into the store and start to browse, didn't take long before the tell tale signs of a migraine hit, the old eyes did all the telling! and as usuall, I tried to pack in everything...

Reading, sewing, computers = migraines???

O.k, so now I'm wondering what migraines will take away next. I've noticed for some time now that if I'm working with my head bent like when your reading a book, sewing or working on something, I always seem to end up with a migraine. How does that make any sense?

I've always noticed reading having that effect on me, but lately I thought I'd start sewing again and bingo...work for a while and then I either get a migraine or wake up the...

Back I go...2 to 3 a week.

It sure has not taken long for my migraines to go back to 2 or 3 a week. Since I'm no longer on any preventatives for my migraines, they have come back full force.
No health coverage means no meds to help keep them at bay. no safety net once one starts. That's life for ya!
...and try to get health coverage!! When they hear that it's migraines that I get, well, no way do they want to cover you.
So, my question to these idiots are, what in heck...

Family & Migraines

What a way to start your day, waking up with a migraine, but to top it off, waking up and finding out that your daughter who lives in Alberta ( I live in Ontario) woke up with a migraine also? I mean really!

Sharing migraines is one thing, but learning that we have them on the same days? How weird is that? well apparently not so weird if you take into consideration that the change in seasons, sunlight, wind, weather in general can have...

another weird one!

RRRRGGGG! Silly me, on the weekend I had started a new medication and thought I was having a reaction to it. Ended up sick to my stomach, and went paralized down one side of me...and wouldn't you know it that is when my better half walked into the washroom in the middle of the night...scared him silly and he called the ambulance...yes the ambulance. Apparently I was shaking and not a pretty sight to see, specially waking up to that!
Found out...
