    Hello, and welcome to MyMigraineConnection.com!

We haven't heard of permanent vision changes after a single Migraine attack. You may want to have an ophthmalogist examine your eyes.

If you get more than three to four Migraines a month and cannto find good treatment it may be time for a Migraine specialist.

I had a vision change too due to a migraine with aura.  The neurologist found that I had a small stroke due to the migraine.  He says that it will clear up over the next several months.  What has your doctor found and told you?

    Hi,

I'm sorry to hear you are having problems with your vision. Migraine with aura is the second most common type of Migraine, 25-30% of Migraineurs suffer from them.  We have some information I hope you find helpful on Migraine and Stroke Risk.

Have you seen our list of patient recommended Migraine specialists? You can find that HERE.

I lost my medical insurance and am waiting for a referal to a neurologist from the county hospital. I have 20/20 vision with my glasses. The eye Dr. does not believe it is my eyes because. I am trying to function normally but I feel like someone took a flash picture of me and I never recovered.

thank you for the information about stroke. I think this has been confirmed with me but I will be checking again with my Dr. soon. Have you gotten your full vision back yet?

Hi.  No, I have not gotten my full vision back yet.  It was a small stoke and I may  recover full vision.  I still have a small visual field defect and has become less noticable.  If it does go away, it is going to take many more months since it is changing at a snail's pace.
