I have been back to work for a few extremely painful weeks and it has been a struggle.  It is not so much the migraines, they cause as much trouble as before, making me take Amerge way more than I ought to, but little else to do.  But it is also the side effects.  My doc is not sure whether these side effects (severe muscle pain, muscle fatigue, shaking, tremors) are due to the Lyrica (am rather hoping not) or from using the Amerge too much.  The Amerge itself has side effects, shortness of breath, some chest pain, fatigue and screws with my heart rate and my asthma.  Plus my stomach is messed up from all the anti-inflammatories I was on, and does not seem to be healing itself.  These side effects are killing me.  I am weak, sometimes in a great deal of pain, with mucles so weak and sore I cannot really walk, hands shaking so back I cannot write.  And then the stomach issues.  So it means hopfeully the neuro will revamp my meds, but he can only do so under the condition that whatever he gives me helps me get to work... I can't miss more, so I need something effective.  Then he can mess with whatever, as long as I can continue to function in some way... and walk.  These side effects are messed up... the only thing I can think is that Lyrica is used to treat FMS, and when I have a migraine it gives me a supper dose of FMS pain, but without my having aggrvated my FMS by actually doing anything.
