Thursday, March 06, 2008 at 01:26 PMI took Effexor (antidepressant) for about 7 to 8 years with triptans and didn't have any problem. Now I have been on Cymbalta for at least 2 years and still have no problems with my triptans. Maybe some people are sensitve to them and your pharmacist had to mention it to you? When I googled "antidpressents and triptans" this came up http://headaches.about.com/b/2006/07/19/fda-advisory-use-of-triptans-and-antidepressants.htm
I would read the article the other woman suggested as well. I am going to in a second. I think one thing to keep in mind is that us migrainers seem to be at risk for just about everything because of our medications as well as other medical conditions. C'est la vie! :o)
