Hope for the New Year

By jennyc Saturday, December 29, 2007

Things I hope for in the New Year (nothing too big--just a few little things):

1.  I hope to be a better Mom and wife.

2.  I hope I'll have more patience with myself and with others.

3. I hope my children and DH will be happy and healthy. I hope they will always know that I love them more than life itself.Heart

4.  I hope to be a help to my family rather than "the sick one" always in need of support.

5.  I hope my brother will fall in love again.  (Great guy--divorced from a lousy wife.)

6.  I hope to make ends meet financially, even with all of the doctors' appointments, meds, etc. for me and my family (especially my son).

7.  I hope we have a really nice snowfall so DH, kids and I can go sledding again!Big Smile

8.  I hope even one person thinks of me and smiles.

9.  I hope my friends find themselves more healthy and happy than last year.

10.  I hope Imitrex comes out in generic.  (Particularly the injections, please!)

11.  I hope just one or two (or 10 or 100) doctors in this world will become more sensitive to patients suffering from chronic pain.

12.  I hope I never again have to watch someone I love die from migraine related helath problems.

13.  I hope someone finds a cure for migraine disease.  (OK, I guess that one was a BIG request, but I really do hope it comes true!!!)

to be continued...

I guess hopes can be great without being big!  Do I count for thinking of you and smiling right now?  I know it's not 2008 yet, but I may as well get on the right track.

Take care.

Hi Jenny - I'm thinking of you and smiling already!  I wish for all your hopes to come true, and please remember that you bring your love and valuable contribution to your family even if you do get sick!

Jenny - your post really made me smile.  You always have great things to say.  I know that you'll make progress on this list and next year's will be much shorter.
