Inderal and verapamil

Hi all, a quick question.  I have been taking Inderal and Verapmil for about 4 years now.  I was told by my neurologist that this is not a combination that I should stay on for an extended period of time. (He wanted to ween me off the verapmil eventually)  However, I am not seeing this neuro any longer and my PCP is prescribing both drugs for me.  My concern is that my PCP might not know much about these drugs being used in combonation with each other and I'm worried about the long term affects.  Has anyone had any adverse reaction with these medications used in combonation with each other?
