Hi just checking in.  I also have had auras with smells and lightning type sparks in head.  i have smelled smoke, hot sausage (I am a vegetarian) and burning garbage.  Sometimes I have pleasant aromas of hot chocolate (yum) and certain perfumes or pleasant foods.  I have also thought of a food and could actually taste it and smell it!!  Some of the better side-effects of migraines I suppose.  please share with me!!!  I have just received rx for relpax but have not had need to take it yet.  I was in ER a few days ago with full-blown migraine.  (I still have a slight headache anyway, but not as bad as it was)
