I was recently on Cymbalta, and was having several things going wrong.  Shaking, sweating, anxiety, rapid heartrate.  I went back to my headache specialist office, and we decided to taper off the Cymbalta, but they were concerned about my heart so I went to see my regular physician.  They did an EKG, (my heartbeat was anywhere from 105-150+) and said my heart was ok.  But as we talked, they checked out the tremors in my hands, and also felt the front of my throat.  They asked if anyone in my family had thyroid problems, and yes, my Grandmother did.  They ran some tests, and come to find out, I have Hyperthyroidism!  All the things I was experiencing were symptoms of an overactive Thyroid.  They are doing some more tests to find out why, but more than likely it is Graves' disease.  I asked my dr. if this could have anything to do with my headaches, and she thought it could at least be making them worse.  I will post after I find out more, but if anyone is having these probs or has Hyperthyroidism, I would love to hear from you!
