If I could fly, I'd fly away
far away from here
I'd fly away someplace where
no one else could hear
My silent screams, the writhing pain
that I can no longer bear
For the day is coming, coming fast
I can feel it in every little hair
The sadness consumes me more each day
Like a growing cancer that won't go away
The pressure builds like my head will explode
I'm tired of playing pretend
I just want it all to end.
