About Me

I have been suffering of migraines since early adulthood, especially when weather changes. In 2000 I came to the US from Moscow, Russia. I live in Missouri where climate is difficult for me, since weather changes here very fast, summers are hot and humid. All these years I suffer of tension headaches and migraines a lot. I work very hard at the University as a research professor, spend lots of time sitting at the computer because of my work, experience much stress due to tough deadlines, and do not have enough sleep and rest, even during weekends. I am a breast cancer survivor (invasive duct carcinoma, non-hormonal) - I had undergone radiation, chemotherapy, and herceptin treatment in 2002-2003. Intensity and frequency of migraine attacks have been increasing since that time.
