About Me

I've been living with migraines since I was 19 years old. They run in my family. My triggers are (so far) MSG, storms, and flashing lights. Stress tends to aggravate my migraines. I tend to get migraines at least once or twice a month. The only things I can drink during a migraine are coffee, coke and Poweraide. My migraines last between two days and two weeks. I have been to a doctor for them. However, my doctor either does not care or is not very knowledgable about them. He basically gave me a prescription for Immitrex (which a whole prescription lasts me about five to six months). In my spare time, I like to sew, crochet, knit, and read. I live with three cats, one of them mine. I lost my dog last October due to kidney failure resulting from canine diabetes. She was my life. I am a huge animal lover. I plan on training to become a dog groomer.
