I TAKE aBOUT 2to 3 midrin when I get an attack Maybe once a week. Some times i take one tab, My script is 2 than 1 per hr up to 5 I have never taken 5 . How much is too much I was on depacote I did not like it. I also take 2 mil of lexapro I cut it up Doc says its ok Did not like side effects of full...

    follow your doctors orders on medication dosage. We can't tell you how much is too much because we aren't doctors. I can tell you when I use Midrin I use it as my doctor prescribes it, just like yours: 2 the first of Migraine, then one each hour up to 5. If I take it more than 2 days a week I have  stomach cramping, a potential side effect. The other issue is taking more than that can create another problem formerly called rebound now called Medication Overuse Headache.  Medication Overuse Headache - When the Remedy Backfires.

    one doc told me over use is taking meds every day,I thought that was a general answer just to shut me up.I thought rebound happens when you take meds if you think you are getting a headache and you wind up triggering another later on.
