I guess it all depends on how much coffee with caffeine you drink.  Caffeine can sometimes help your headaches. Over the counter meds like exedrin migraine have caffeine in it. I know several people that use it and it works for them.  They are lucky! haha I usually drink 2 cups of coffee a day.  I know too much caffeine isn't good for migraines or headaches.

just be mindful about cutting back too quiickly.... that can lead to some pretty bad headaches.

i drink decaf as a rule.... b/c i can't live without tea and mt dew.

the first few days of less coffee..... try drinking more water.... i know it helped me

I myself stopped caffeine for 6 months. No pop with caffeine, and no coffee. Boy it was hard at first. I stil got headaches! So that's my story. But I have cut down because of palpitations, and because "too much" caffeine has been linked to migraines. I allow myself 2 cups a day.

    Good luck!Big Smile

I have been wondering if I should quit my coffee as well. I drink several cups in the morning (3 sometimes). I also take excedrin migraine, which also has caffeine. I too, like another comment I saw, get heart palpatations so I am thinking it's time to slow down at least. Did you quit?  Did it help or hurt your headaches? How long do yours usually last? Cb
