    • 4 1-inch thick pork chops*
    • 1/2 cup vinegar*
    • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
    • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
    • 2 bay leaves
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
    • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
Brown pork chops in skillet sprayed with cooking spray. Mix together the remaining ingredients. Place the pork chops in a baking dish and pour the mixture over. If not a trigger, add 2 medium onions sliced 1/4-inch thick.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, until pork chop juices run clear when stuck with a fork. Pour sauce into a small skillet. Remove bay leaves. Add 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed in 2 Tablespoons water. Simmer until the sauce is thick. Pour the sauce over the pork chops before serving.
