I had hormonal migraines for years, which stopped after a hysterectomy.  I was migraine free for 8 years then in January of this year, boom ! a migraine.  I was averaging one every 3 days until I got to a neurologist and got on preventative meds - zonegran.  So far the preventatives are working.

Does anyone else have experience with them totally stopping for such a long period of time only to return full force?
