Migraines, Partial disability or Full disability?

  • I have suffered from Migraines for the last 18 years, been to many different  Doctors and have  tried many different medications. I am 40 years old and have a very good Job that I would like to keep. I have 2 kids and a wife of 20 years, my migraines have caused much strain on my marriage, family, friends and job. I have gone through many different stages with this terrible disease. Meaning I have had daily migraines/rebound headaches and up to a week without a headache, once a week trip to the ER for a shot of Demerol & Vistaril and up to 2 years without a trip to the ER. I will spare you all the details but I just wanted to give a short explanation of what I have been trough over the years.

I fear that my Job is now on the line because I have missed more work lately and I am now dealing with lower Back problems and possible surgery this year. I need to know what my options are for Disability or even partial disability if there is such a thing? I don’t want to quit working I just want some help keeping my Job for days missed.

Thanks in advance for any advice help or direction, Dennis
