    Hello, and welcome to MyMigraineConnection.com!

I'm sorry you didn't have a good ER experience. They may have started IV fluids to rehydrate you before starting any pain medications. I know when I have an IV infusion in my doctors office to break a nasty Migraine cycle, the nurse will start off with fluids if I have been vomiting. Then they continue with their protocol.

We do have some forms you may want to take to your next doctors appointment and have him fill out to make your next ER visist a bit easier.  Emergency Migraine and Headache Care - Forms To Help.
