Sammy in her post mentioned sending medical info prior to her migraine specialist appointment and wrote how much it helped. I'm wondeing if it would be a good strategy for people to adopt generally.

I've done the same for an appointment I've got coming up in August. The staff weren't particularly encouraging of that but I did anyhow. I'm wondering how many other people have tried this and what influence it's had on their appointment, and quality of treatment. Also has anyone who's done this been contacted before hand if the doctor has felt they weren't able to help to be advised of this so they can look for someone else. And has anyone done but gotten to the appointment to be told "nothing can be done" or refused treatment.

Just interested in knowing. At least after my appointment I can report on my success or otherwise.

Take care DJ
