About Me

I have lived with migraines since I was 11 years old. I've been on every medication that doctors thought would help me, they also thought I was bi polar. Migraines are so misunderstood by the medical community and I would like to see more research for them for a cure. I cannot work at a job because of how they have worsened over the past years. The medication helps but also knocks you out completely and you cannot drive a vehicle or for me, be in a moving vehicle at all. My jaw locks and I slurr my words I have also lost vision due to aura. It seems that the outside public laugh at the thought of migraines being disabling and it was very hard for me to get disability now I am being reviewed on my disability case I have fear it will be taken from me because people don't believe migraines are a serious illness to deal with. They rob you out of life.
