My last post was in June, and I am happy to say I have still had no migraines since I stopped taking birth control pills in April. I used 'remission' in my title because I don't know what menopause will bring. I turn 50 in March, so it shouldn't be too much longer for the 'change' to start. Will that change bring more migraines? My last migraine was when I travelled on business to Arizona in late April. I had two, presumably due to the physical stress of travel and the very dry air. Well, so much for acupuncture. I had an appointment on Oct 18, but the doctor said I could cancel it if I did not get a migraine. So, I canceled it on the morning of Oct 18. On the afternoons of Oct 19 and 20, I had migraines. It was at the end of my period, which was a normal time to experience them, so I thought that the hormones were too strong... Read more

Still no migraine since September 15 - almost a month. I have an appointment with my acupuncturist on Thursday, but he said to cancel if I do not get a migraine.
