It's really an awful thing to live with. Can't concentrate or focus on anything any more. How do you tell someone to please stop talking to you that it's killing your head trying to concentrate on what they are saying?? My headaches are from a car accident when I was seven but didn't start getting them until I was twelve. Hasn't been an easy life at all. Since my migraines are from a trauma it's very hard to find and prevent the triggers...........UGH!!!!

try it being your boss who you really want to scream at to shut up. the sound of her voice is making you cringe.
i love her to death, but her voice is very high pitched ( and is just like a spike being driven through my head) and i get to hear this while under the galre of floresecent lights, customers who bathed in perfume before shopping, and the smell of acetone and amonia while floors are being stripped. oh yes what joy!
i survive by taking my meds as soon as possible, and trying to tune her out ( that makes her real happy, until another boss explained to her why i do so) at least now she tried to e down the shrill.
just hang in there and know you aren't alone!
You are so right! I worked in retail until I got laid off. The lights, perfume, floors, customers and heavy lifting and unloading the trucks! grr....It was very difficult. No insurance,no doctor and no meds. It's just tough. I am glad your boss tones it down for you. Mine wouldn't. My boyfriend talks very loud and he tries to soften the blow. Thanks for your comment and I know I am not alone but it does feel like it most of the time.
