Descending Mt. Painfree

The slow descent back into the world of migraines has begun, and the landscape is a little different this time. Instead of the aching soreness, it's a prickly, tingling, slightly numb sensation on the right side of my face, scalp and neck. Little baby right-side migraines creep up by the end of the day on days when my estrogen levels are low (right after ovulation for a few days then again for PMS and menstruation). Raising my eyebrows and opening my mouth all the way both feel ummmm...strange, tight, not right. And it hurts my right eye to look to the left. I'm wearing contacts today, in the hopes that my glasses were making things worse.

I DO NOT want to go back!!!! I remember living in fear, the constant frustration, anger, jealousy of people who just breeze along without pain...I've been migraine free for almost 2 years now, and I just don't understand why I can't stay that way! (And I don't want to just be pregnant for the rest of my life, either...)

I'm still feeling good, but I can tell it's going downhill, every month it's getting worse. I don't understand why there are 17 different sumatripans, but no simple hormonal migraine control...
