Thanks for all the prayers and encouragement!
This morning hasn't exactly started out pain-free. I've been up since 2:00am with an entire percussion band practicing in my head. However, I am trying to approach the day counting my blessings instead of complaining. I am thankful for my friends and family, a wonderful husband, and a terrific son (who by the wat was a miracle baby). I am thankful for a roof over my head, food to eat and clothes on my back. I am thankful for this website and for all of you here for the words of wisdom and encouragement. Better hold off on further thankfulness...Turkey day is coming up and I need something to give thanks for...lol.
So the migraine is firmly in place and my brain is still in first gear...with a few moments of reverse....and my mood has improved slightly. I will not let it get me down! The migraines will not win the battle.
On a sweeter note my cats are so very preceptive. They know when I feel bad. I have one, her name is Callie, who when I have cramps she will lay across my lap like a heating pad ( it's the only time she does it). Then there is Kala and Noel a.k.a. Schnoodle-Doodle who will lay beside me in bed when I am sick or have had surgery. They will not move until I can get up. Then there is my baby boy Yogi ( he is the one in the pic with me). When I have a migraine and I have to lay down he lays down on my pillow behind my head and will massage my head and shoulders for the longest time. There are times when I could wring their necks. But honestly I sure do love 'em. I'll never admit it to my hubby. He keeps finding them and bringing them home and I keep threatening to move out if brings home another. He's such a softie. We are up to 7 inside and 1 outside, with about 12 other strays we feed.
Ok, I know I'm rambling! LOL! Hopefully this is a good sign.
Thanks again for the prayers and support. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
Anita
