Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've posted. Hope everyone is doing well. Hubby and I have had the flu for the past 8 days or so. I actually feel like I'm among the living again...lol. I feel great this morning. Almost too great if you know what I mean. Tons of energy! It's not quite 7:00 am and I have already washed 3 loads of laundry, ironed hubbies uniforms for the week, cooked breakfast, washed dishes and fed the cats. That's more than I have done the past week...lol!
I went to the neuro almost 2 weeks ago and he changed a couple of my meds. He stopped the prozac and started effexor xr 120 mg and also changed from zomig to imitrex. Imitrex is the last of the triptans to try. It seems to do about as well as the others. It's has about 50% rate of help. Insurance still will not approve the Botox injections. So that is on hold. And as of yet they have not approved the other facet injections. I've only had 3 mirgaines in the 10 days...still alot but better than everyday.
Just wanted to drop in and say hey to everyone! I hope you all have a great day! I am going to go get busy again before the energy goes and the pain begins.

I'm glad to hear you are all getting over that lousy flu! Unfortunately, my son just caught it--he threw up for 15 hours straight!!
Enjoy today! But don't waste it working all day--do something fun for yourself while you're feeling well!!
I hope your little fella gets to feeling better soon! It's bad enough when us big folks get sick but when one of our little ones get sick it's awful. As moms we feel helpless.
I did get a little me time in. A friend of mine came over today. We had coffee on the deck and bad mouthed the men...lol. That's always good for a little asmusement.
