Well I went to the Dr's yesterday April 15, 2008 and I talked to him about a few things. Getting a sleep study done, Trying new Preventatives, Trying new abortive's and rescue med's.
He told me that he is going to try to get me in to see a Migraine Neurologist in Boston with in the next month.
My Dr. did increase my Topamax to 50 mg twice a day and he also gave me a prescription for Midrin but he said to only take it for my very worst headaches. I also asked him about DHE-45 and he said he has never proscribed it but would check into it incase the Midrin didn't work.
He increased me Trazodone from 150 Mg a night to 300 Mg a night so hopefully that will help me sleep a little better.
He didn't want to send me for a sleep study until I was seen by the Neurologist in Boston.
I also asked him about acupuncture but he didn't say anything. So I'm guessing that's a no.
As far as rescue drugs go I still have 25 Vicodin left but I'm not to keen on using them they don't do much for me.
So here is a complete list of the medication I take ever day and the amount.
