Sunday, December 21, 2008 at 01:15 PMI have a scalp that hurts too, occasionally. But, it's not that bad. I just feel it when I brush my hair. And, it happened before I started geodone. I don't have migraines. I've been irritable, anxious, and irrational. This began when I increased my dose from 60 mg to 80 mg of geodone. The anxiety was so bad I lowered my dose back to 60 mg. The anxiety stopped. I'm still irritable and irrational, though. And, I feel hyper with a need to tap my foot almost constantly sometimes. I think I'm going to lower my dose to 40 mg now.

NO ONE can help you with this but your DOCTOR ! And I'm sure you know this. I would call him Monday and because you cant change doses on your own. Let me know how you made I I really want to know.. How are you headaches recently?

Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 07:42 PMDear Jim:
I was reading through "past" share posts on this website and came across yours just now about your 8-day long headache that would not respond to anything until you recieved teh steroid "push" and acupuncture. Were your headaches ever properly diagnosed and treated?
I had severe, excruciating headaches for a long time that the migraine drugs and narcotic did not phase at all. I learned that they were a rare type of inflammatory headache that only respond to very strong anti-inflammatory drugs and also to lithium.
I hope by now you are feeling better. If you receive this message, please write back. I have been through a 40-year span of headaches and tried so many things over the years, but finally I have the right diagnosis and my quality of life is again livable.
