I have a scalp that hurts too, occasionally.  But, it's not that bad.  I just feel it when I brush my hair.  And, it happened before I started geodone.  I don't have migraines.  I've been irritable, anxious, and irrational.  This began when I increased my dose from 60 mg to 80 mg of geodone.  The anxiety was so bad I lowered my dose back to 60 mg. The anxiety stopped.  I'm still irritable and irrational, though.  And, I feel hyper with a need to tap my foot almost constantly sometimes.  I think I'm going to lower my dose to 40 mg now.

I was taking a 160 mg of Geodone and didn't have any bad side effects, But that's just me You have to TALK to your Doctor about what's happening with you. NO ONE can help you with this but your DOCTOR ! And I'm sure you know this. I would call him Monday and because you cant change doses on your own. Let me know how you made I I really want to know.. Dear Jim:

I was reading through "past" share posts on this website and came across yours just now about your 8-day long headache that would not respond to anything until you recieved teh steroid "push" and acupuncture.  Were your headaches ever properly diagnosed and treated?

I had severe, excruciating headaches for a long time that the migraine drugs and narcotic did not phase at all.  I learned that they were a rare type of inflammatory headache that only respond to very strong anti-inflammatory drugs and also to lithium.

I hope by now you are feeling better.  If you receive this message, please write back.  I have been through a 40-year span of headaches and tried so many things over the years, but finally I have the right diagnosis and my quality of life is again livable.
