I wanna go home

By Jamie Wednesday, January 16, 2008

The conference was great, learned a lot.

Unfortunately, I was hit with a doozy of a migraine (and still have said beast) I know the trigger- sleep pattern changes- and perhaps some being overtired, and maybe a little weather change tossed in for some good effect.

I'm glad I took a stuffed animal with me, as I don't have DH to give me a hug. At least the stuffed animal is cuddly, and I'm curled up in the dark room sorta waiting for the frova to get the last of the pain.

Was supposed to see friends tonight, but that's not going to happen now. I'm bummed about that, but I'm in no shape to do anything other than stay in my little cocoon of a room with the DSL that I paid for again this afternoon when I realized that I was going to spend tonight in the room.

I'm ready to go home to my own bed and my DH, and my kitty cats. It's been fun, but it's time to go home!

DH wants you to come home too.  Kitties are nice, but don't sleep in the bed and hugs from you are what keep me going.

I know how you feel. I have migraines all the time but when it is really bad I can hardly bare it. Yeah holding a stuffed animal is a good idea when you are in so much pain.

Hello dear Jamie, I'm SO sorry to hear about your horrible experience while you are at the conference, I was so happy for you that you'd get to go to that.  Just a silly thought, but have you ever been tested for allergies? I saw that you have cats, and I just wondered.  I was diagnosed as allergic to cat dander, but I took the allergy shots, and haven't had any sinus headaches, infections, etc, anymore.  Just a thought.  I hope and pray you're better by the time this post gets to you.  Hugs, Rachel

Yeah, I've had allergy testing done- and I'm mildly allergic to molds, but that's about it. I know- would if it were that easy. Nope- these are all migraines- in fact- i've never had a true sinus infection... just what was presenting like one about 6 months before all of the migraine mess started in jan of '06

Hi again Jamie, oh dear hon, I didn't mean to imply that your headaches aren't migraines, I understand how they are, trust me.  I just meant that the allergies might be triggers for you.  take care.
