Dancing the dance

Of the MOH tango.

I've been sidelined by an elbow injury. I've found that I can't take anti-inflammatories more than 3 days in a row without getting into trouble. However, I can be on ultram for weeks and not have a problem. This has been tested a couple of times. It...

We do what we can.  I get mad sometimes, but I'm frustrated at the situation, not you.  I also get frustrated when it gets you down enough to get depressed or negative.  I'm right there dancing with you, but as you know we both kinda suck at dancing.

    Don't give up!

It's a real shame that we have to "prove" to our doctors that we know ourselves best!  But if anyone knows how to stand up for herself, it's YOU!

Funny that they're making such a big deal of your request for Ultram...It's not like you're coming to them in a search for some strong narcotic....

Keep going girl!  Do the cha-cha, the cabbage patch...whatever you need to stay well and as pain free as possible!  (And MOH-free!)

As if we don't have to worry about MOH enough just because of migraines, but whenever we take painkillers for other pain. It's not very fair, but then again, not much about this disease is very fair.

Hang in there, hun - keep taking care of that elbow. Hope the ultram keeps working for you and doesn't give you any MOH problems. Heart

You sure made the dilemma clear, and with only one functioning elbow.  As you know I'm in the injured elbow club with you, and so maybe the dance should be called the funky chicken-wing!  It sure is frustrating that the doctors aren't getting it - keep on explaining!  You need that elbow and that head functioning - shouldn't have to choose!

i pulled a muscle in my neck at work 2 weeks ago. doctor gave me darvacet, which while helps my neck, if i'm not careful will make me rebound. so instead of just the usual muscle relaxer and pain pills, he also gave me a nerve pill, so that maybe i can stay relaxed, and in turn keep the pain down while the muscle heals. this same nerve pill also helps me relax when my migraine meds don't work............. you have no idea just how much i love this doctor!!
