I used to feel lucky when I got a migraine that was a 5 on a pain scale. Recently, my migraines, while not controlled, have been less painful and just a nuisance. (Let's hear it for preventatives starting to work!)

Right now, and for the past day, I'm sitting at a 5, and feel like my head's splitting open. I guess it's all frame of refrence. It's thundering out- weather's my biggest trigger, and this is all it's climbing to. a 5/10.

Unfortunately, I maxed out on amerge today, and it didn't braak. I did get 3 hours of pain relief. Just not that magic 4... So, it's rescue meds and anti nausea pills and time to lay down in bed, hoping that this will pass. By this, I'm meaning my head pain. I guess it also could refer to the stormy weather.

Uggh. How could this have once been a "mild migraine?" (thank you, verapamil, I love you!) Shows how far I've come. Wow.

I still wish that my HA specialist had the clinic set up fully yet and could do IVs. I'd be camping out at the office door, backpack and credit card in hand.

Time to look away from the screen.

Night all,

Jamie
