Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 03:13 PMI too have suffered for several days with a mild migraine and finally it rained...then it got relieved for a bit. It is hard to try to figure out how to control the migraine without taking your drugs and making yourself tired, sleepy and non-sociable. Maintaining a good balanced diet, watching what you eat and keeping yourself as stress free as possible are things we can control (to a point) but man when the weather is changing and the barometer goes into the left field (my thoughts) here come s the pain and the agony of dealing with it and possibly cancelling plans cuz of it.

Weather Triggered Migraine

Friday, May 30, 2008 at 12:14 PMI'm right there with you. I avoid known triggers like the plague. I closed the windows already and turned on the AC because the fragrance from all the flowers around us and the smell of cut grass is a trigger.
But the weather?? Nothing I can do about it except pray. By yesterday evening it was so bad I was staggering, and after Bible study, when my hubby took me to the store to get some things for the nausea, I think I scared the poor cahier. She thought I was going to collapse right in front of her.
I'm still suffering today, and the Doctor is booked. So hopefully they will call in something.

Steroids bring me out eventually. Thank God. This is not such a beneign disease after all.
I just feel that this is Sooooo unfair. But then again, I could have some other worst disease. Lots of people do.
Pain management and prayer and steroids.
WOW.
