An August Migraine

There is discomfort. My mind and body are asleep but there is something wrong. My body is feeling overly warm and uncomfortable. There is pain somewhere. All is dark. The tiredness that grips me is still overwhelming the pain and discomfort, but not for much longer.

There is noise. Clattering from above that rings down into my senses and calls me up. There is still only darkness but my mind grabs onto this intruding sound to bring me...

My Expensive Traveling Migraines

My Expensive Traveling Migraines

My migraines follow me where ‘er I go
From Indy to Tennessee and Idaho
To points up North and Cities South
From Mississippi to work place crowds

When in the shower they'll come through hot water
Get in my head and cause me much bother

They hide in the onions, the garlic and yeast
The citrus, salami and my favorite cheese

Not to mention other fine foods
Denied when...

OK. I admit it. I am a technical neandrathal that often needs my kids to tell me how to work the computer. I have never joined a community discussion on the web before and am not sure if I'm doing it right. Someone please let me know.

I am motivated to talk to someone right now because I am just coming down off of a 26 hour (so far) migraine. It is much better right now but still...
