I can see him coming, miles away
Nowhere to run, no place to hide, no way to get away
I shrink back in terror, hunched up in fear
He gets closer and closer, now very near
Brown hair coats his back, his eyes are so red
His teeth are all rotted, he smells of the dead
A dagger-like nail goes into my eye
I yelp in pain, beg to die
Within moments I am dragged into his lair
All I can think of is the pain, this is so unfair
I am chained to him, I am cannot move an inch
And every time he looks at me, I cannot help but flinch
He turns on loud music, the noise makes me scream
He won’t let me sit down, won’t let me lie down, is this all a bad dream?
We dance and we dance, the beat growing faster and more painful
Can I survive this? I am so doubtful
The tears pour down my face; the pain is too much to bear
I yell for him to stop, I try to fight, to beg but he doesn’t care
He laughs at my pain; to him it is all a game
All I can think is how stupid I am, how I must be lame
Then the music slows, the beast begins to let go, he has had his fun
I want to collapse for I am so tired but I know that I must go run
It is all over with until the next dance begins as I know it soon will, call it fate
So now… now I just wait.
