I recieved an answer about my type of headaches from Nancy Bonk....I would like to know if you or someone you know suffers from these as well?I am getting scared because my Neurologist says they are serious and I don't know what to expect!I also was prescribed that Topamax....I'm also afraid to try it because of the side effects he told me about!I already take blood pressure meds and I have irregular heart beats so he didn't want to prescribe the calcium type rx.I would love to hear all the info you have.....Thank you for answeing me as well as welcoming me....Have a great Thanksgiving....Margie

Did you have a chance to read the article on Hemiplegic Migraine (HM)? That really is a good source of information, discussing treatments, symptoms and the like. Verapamil is a drug many Migraine specialists use for Hemiplegic Migraine. After you read that article, let me know what you think.
